As a Housekeeping Room Attendant at Courtyard by Marriott, you play a vital role in providing guests with a clean, comfortable, and welcoming stay. You will be responsible for maintaining the highest cleanliness standards in guest rooms and public areas, ensuring an exceptional experience that aligns with Marriott's brand expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing Marriott-approved amenities.
Clean and disinfect bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, showers, and mirrors.
Restock linens, towels, toiletries, and other in-room supplies to meet Marriott's brand standards.
Ensure all furniture, fixtures, and appliances are clean and in working order, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
Empty trash, replace liners, and maintain overall room tidiness.
Maintain cleanliness in hallways, housekeeping storage areas, and assigned public spaces.
Follow Marriott's safety and sanitation policies, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Assist guests with special requests in a professional and friendly manner.
Work efficiently to meet daily room cleaning targets while ensuring high-quality service.
Assist other housekeeping staff as needed.
Maintain and restock housekeeping carts and closets daily.
Employees will be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel. Weekends, holidays, evenings, and on call basis are common.
Immediately log and store all lost and found items.
May be rotated in and out of all areas of the hotel and called on for assistance.
Greet all guests and co-workers in a friendly manner.
Answer all guests questions regarding the hotel and local area facilities and services.
Carry out any reasonable request by management.
Maintain a safe work area at all times.
In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of supportive determined by the housekeeping manager or supervisor. Performance will be monitored using tools such as checking rooms, measuring attendance, punctuality, and teamwork. Performance reviews are conducted annually.
Qualifications & Skills:
Previous housekeeping experience is a plus but not required--training will be provided.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
Physical stamina to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
