Job Summary

:
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking

Room Attendant

to join our team. As a Room Attendant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests experience a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment during their stay. You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas while providing excellent customer service and maintaining a high standard of quality.

Key Responsibilities

:

Clean and maintain guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, replenishing linens, and ensuring all surfaces are sanitized and free from dirt and stains.

Ensure bathrooms are clean, sanitized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies such as towels, toiletries, and paper products.

Report any maintenance or repair issues to the appropriate department to ensure rooms are in optimal condition.

Follow all hotel cleaning protocols to ensure safety and hygiene standards are consistently met.

Organize and stock cleaning supplies, including linens, towels, and amenities, to ensure quick and efficient service.

Respond promptly to guest requests for additional amenities, supplies, or special services with a positive and professional attitude.

Maintain a high level of confidentiality regarding guest information and personal items.

Adhere to all hotel policies, including health and safety standards, to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for both guests and staff.

Assist in other housekeeping tasks as needed, including cleaning public areas and assisting with laundry or inventory management.

Requirements

:

Proven experience in housekeeping or room cleaning is preferred but not required.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to lift and carry cleaning supplies and linens, as well as perform tasks requiring physical activity, such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.

Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, as needed.

Positive, friendly, and guest-oriented attitude.

Flexibility to take on additional tasks or directions from management as needed to support hotel operations and ensure a high standard of service.

Grooming

All employees must maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance per Canmore Inn & Suites standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour
