We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various spaces such as motel rooms, cottages, and property. This role is crucial in ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for guests and clients while upholding high standards of cleanliness.
Responsibilities
Report to property manager for daily duties.
Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and facilities according to established guidelines.
Dust, vacuum, and mop floors; clean windows, walls, and furniture.
Change bed linens and towels; replenish supplies as needed.
Maintain cleanliness in restrooms and ensure proper sanitation practices are followed.
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
Assist with laundry services including maintenance of linen room.
Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and guest satisfaction.
Requirements
Previous experience in custodial or housekeeping roles is preferred (minimum 1 year - references requested and will be contacted)
High school diploma.
Familiarity with hospitality or hotel cleaning standards is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting and moving items as needed (able to lift at least 25 lbs)
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
A commitment to providing exceptional service and maintaining high cleanliness standards, while maintaining a professional appearance and interact positively with guests.
