Ensures all Housekeeping employees deliver the brand promise and provide exceptional guest service at all times.
Be responsible for the inventory of guest supplies, cleaning supplies, printing and stationary for the rooms, linen, etc. and to check that they are handled and stored correctly.
Conducts frequent and thorough inspections of guest rooms and Rooms areas in general together with the Front Office Manager and/or Assistant Manager - Housekeeping.
Ensures all company minimum brand standards have been implemented, and that optional brand standards have been implemented.
To ensure through effective supervision that all services offered in the Housekeeping Department are carried out with the utmost efficiency, quality and courtesy as per the Departmental Operations Manual.
Qualifications:
Well developed Computer Skills particularly MS Office, email and Hotel Property Management system (preferably OPERA)
Detailed knowledge of use of cleaning agents and chemicals
Good trainer, able to facilitate at all levels
Comprehensive knowledge of business needs, financial reporting and productivity requirements
University Degree/Diploma in Hospitality or Tourism Management
Well developed Communication and Customer Relations Skills
Minimum 2 years work experience as Housekeeping Manager or 4 years as Assistant Housekeeping Manager
