Housekeeping Manager (Second-in-Command)
.
The successful candidate will support the Executive Housekeeper in managing daily operations, acting as a key leader in ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and efficiency across the hotel. They must be fully bilingual in French and English and have at least 3 years of relevant experience.

Main Responsibilities
Partner with the Executive Housekeeper to oversee the housekeeping department;
Supervise housekeeping staff and ensure smooth daily cleaning operations;
Manage in-house laundry services and ensure timely delivery of items;
Address maintenance and repair needs in collaboration with the maintenance team;
Assist in sourcing and purchasing housekeeping equipment and supplies;
Coordinate with external contractors for specialized services when required;
Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and organization standards are consistently met;
Maintain inventory of supplies, equipment, and uniforms;
Enforce compliance with local health, sanitation, and safety regulations;
Implement and support departmental policies and procedures.
Specific Skills
Create schedules and assign tasks for housekeeping staff;
Plan and coordinate activities of the housekeeping team;
Provide training and mentorship to housekeeping staff to maintain high performance;
Address and resolve guest concerns related to housekeeping services promptly and professionally;
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless hotel operations.

Responsabilites principales
Collaborer avec la Gouvernante Executive pour superviser le service d'entretien menager;
Superviser le personnel d'entretien menager et garantir le bon deroulement des operations quotidiennes;
Gerer les services de blanchisserie internes et assurer une livraison rapide des articles;
Traiter les besoins de maintenance et de reparation en collaboration avec l'equipe technique;
Participer a la selection et a l'achat de materiel et de fournitures;
Coordonner avec des fournisseurs externes pour des services specialises si necessaire;
Effectuer des inspections regulieres pour garantir le respect des normes de proprete et d'organisation;
Maintenir l'inventaire des fournitures, de l'equipement et des uniformes;
Assurer la conformite aux reglementations locales en matiere de sante, de securite et d'assainissement;
Soutenir et appliquer les politiques et procedures departementales.
Competences specifiques
Creer des horaires et attribuer les taches du personnel d'entretien menager;
Planifier et coordonner les activites de l'equipe;
Fournir de la formation et du mentorat au personnel pour garantir des performances elevees;
Gerer efficacement les preoccupations des clients liees a la proprete;
Collaborer avec les autres departements pour assurer des operations fluides.
