Position overview:
We are looking for hard working, adventurous, and customer service minded people to join our team for the 2026 summer season! The
Housekeeping Lead
is responsible for orchestrating our housekeeping program, including the daily housekeeping of our 15 guest cabins, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization in all guest spaces, organization in storage spaces, and working within the team as a point person on all housekeeping related considerations. The ideal person for this position would be independent enough to run the program confidently and to guide other staff members working in the department, while also being enough of a team player to jump in with other departments when needed. Located on an island, this is a remote position which includes accommodation. Enjoy the opportunity to explore the land and water in a beautiful and unique place.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Orchestrating daily housekeeping on guest cabins with team members
Maintaining a pristine standard of cleanliness and comfortability in all guest areas
Keeping tight organization in housekeeping spaces and laundry room
Overseeing the laundry program
Independently completing tasks while also contributing to team goals
Assistance in the food and beverage department as required
Qualifications and Experience:
Housekeeping experience required
Additional assets:
Lodge or remote working experience
Supervisory experience
A passion for providing attentive and warm customer service
Upholding high levels of professionalism at all times
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Willingness to contribute to big picture goals and responsibilities of the team
Ability to safely lift 40 lbs
Capacity to be an active participant in a physically demanding role
Being comfortable living in a remote environment is a must
A love for the outdoors is very valuable
