If you were working for us as a Housekeeper, here are some of the things you would have done last week:
Washed and dried Residents' clothing and linens, ensuring items were returned fresh and in good condition
Disinfected and cleaned to support infection control
Cleaned Residents' rooms and common areas, including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and bathrooms
Followed WHMIS guidelines and safe handling procedures for all cleaning products
Helped maintain a safe environment by adhering to Health & Safety Standards
Worked as part of a supportive team, assisting coworkers and covering shifts as needed (days, evenings, weekends, and last-minute call-ins)
Took pride in creating a comfortable, homelike environment for Residents every day
And supported your team as needed.

Qualifications
To be hired into this role, you must have:
Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
Experience in housekeeping and laundry (healthcare or hospitality setting an asset)
Ability to operate commercial laundry and cleaning equipment (washer, dryer, auto-scrubber, vacuum, etc.)
Vulnerable Sector Screening (VSS) check completed within the past 6 months
* TB 2 Step updated within the last year
