Duties and Responsibilities
Clean all public areas in accordance with our brand and hotel standards while following safety and security procedures and regulations to include but not limited to: hallways, elevators, stairwells, restrooms, public areas, offices, and guestrooms.
Perform tasks including, but not limited to, dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, shampooing carpets, washing windows, cleaning/waxing floors, removing and disposing of trash.
Greet guests in a friendly manner.
Stock and maintain supply rooms, as needed.
Perform deep cleaning tasks and special projects (for example: , furniture moves, etc.), as needed.
Deliver guest requests and assist in cleaning guest rooms, as needed.
Assist in laundry i.e folding, operating the washers, sorting.
Perform other duties as requested by management.
Qualifications and Skill Requirements:
Must be available to work a variety of shifts including but not limited to evenings, weekends and/or holidays.
Must possess excellent verbal communication skills.
Work in a physically demanding position (bending, standing, scrubbing, lifting, pushing...etc).
Must be able to work both independently and as a team.
Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly.
Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.
Must be able to multi task.
Must be able to show initiative in job performance, including anticipating what needs to be done before it becomes a necessity.
Must routinely meet deadlines.
Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary.
Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying the concerns and issues raised by co-workers and guests.
Ability to push and/or pull equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
Ability to lift up to 30lbs.
Ability to scrub and scour surfaces, extending arms over head to perform cleaning tasks, and work in confined spaces.

Pay: From $16.50 per hour

Experience:
housekeeping or general cleaning: 1 year (preferred)
