Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of guest rooms and public areas within a hotel.
Key Responsibilities:
Cleaning:
Thoroughly cleaning guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas. This includes dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
Bed Making & Linen Change:
Changing bed linens, making beds, and ensuring rooms are prepared for new guests or maintained during their stay.
Restocking Amenities:
Replenishing toiletries, towels, and other guest amenities in rooms and public areas.
Laundry Services:
Assisting with laundry duties, including washing, drying, and folding linens and towels.
Waste Removal:
Emptying trash and recycling bins in guest rooms and public spaces.
Reporting Maintenance Issues:
Identifying and reporting any maintenance problems, such as broken appliances or damaged furniture, to the appropriate personnel.
Guest Requests:
Responding to guest requests for additional items like towels or pillows.
Maintaining Supplies:
Keeping housekeeping carts stocked with necessary cleaning supplies.
Security & Confidentiality:
Maintaining the security of guest rooms and respecting guest privacy.
Following Protocols:
Adhering to hotel policies, safety regulations, and health standards.
Qualifications
Proven experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
Excellent time management skills
Good communication and interpersonal abilities
Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks efficiently
