Housekeeping - Day Shift


This Job Offers:

$19.00/hour Work Monday-Friday 7AM until 3:30PM Off every Saturday & Sunday Full Benefit Package Company Pension Match at 5%

Essential Responsibilities:


Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing building offices and areas as per schedule

Required to perform additional cleaning duties as per the master cleaning schedule Ensure compliance with GMP's, and Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations Ensure compliance to food safety and quality programs (FSSC, HACCP)

Specific Duties:

Adhere to sanitation program guidelines and make recommendations for change or improvement Daily housekeeping as per schedule including, but not limited to: lunchroom, hallways, stairs, labs, washroom facilities, change rooms, offices within the plant and training room sweep, mop, garbage collection, general cleaning and tidying, cleaning doors, windows, chairs and tables, restocking of supplies Maintain all cleaning supplies and equipment in a satisfactory manner Maintain housekeeping storage room in a clean and organized manner with clear identification of all chemicals stored there Outside housekeeping as assigned clean other areas of the plant as per the master cleaning schedule complete documentation to meet our food safe quality and production requirements

Qualifications:

High School Diploma Ability to work in a team environment Knowledge of WHMIS Ability to work with cleaning chemicals Position requires physical skills; lifting, climbing, bending
