The Sheraton Cavalier Saskatoon Hotel is owned and operated by a local family; a Franchised property under Marriott International.

The Sheraton Cavalier is recruiting for Room Attendants. This role is critical in the success of our company, ensuring our guests are confident in our product and services we provide.

As a Room Attendant you must have an eye for detail, be well organized, and take pride in a job well done. Although Room Attendants work independently, they are an integral part of a larger team achieving daily goals and targets. You will also be cross-trained to other positions within the team (laundry, public space, etc).

Preference will be given to those who have cleaning experience. This job can be physically demanding; therefore previous knowledge of this type of work will be an asset for potential hires.

This is mainly a day position; however, weekend availability is a must for this job as that is our busiest time.

Responsibilities

Cleaning of occupied and vacant guest rooms including:

dusting, vacuuming, washing walls and making beds

cleaning and sanitizing bathroom (inclusive of tubs, showers, sinks, toilets, floors, etc.

replenishing appropriate guest room supplies and amenities

removing soiled linens and terries

changing linen, making beds; presenting the Sheraton Sweet Sleeper Bed Package

stocking of cart and storage room

exhibit genuine caring concern for our guests

Qualifications

Must be able to work weekdays and weekends

Able to work independently in an productive manner

Must have an eye for detail and care about the small touches

Friendly, approachable, and personable

Must be organized, detail oriented, and efficient

Able to be on your feet for majority of the day

Bending and kneeling often through the work day

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $16.25 per hour
