We are currently recruiting for an energetic individual to join our team as a Housekeeping Associate. The ideal candidate has a passion for cleanliness, attention to detail, communication, and building relationships. We enjoy working smarter not harder, developing better life balance and a healthy team environment.

This full-time position offers 35-40 hours per week. Flexibility is essential, as shift times may vary and can include opening, afternoon, or closing shifts, including weekends, based on business needs.

Position Summary



Reporting to the Facilities Manager, the Housekeeping Associate will work as part of a team to maintain and keep the Lounge, Studios, and the entire Club impressively organized, clean, and sanitized to meet SVAC standards and Club Member expectations.

Duties and Responsibilities



Perform all regular cleaning schedules and duties (hourly, daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly) throughout the entirety of the Club to the absolute best of your abilities. Complete these checklists accurately. Gym Floor responsibilities include cleaning all gym equipment daily to make sure that dust and debris are removed. This includes keeping all cleansing wipes, hand sanitizer and spray bottles full as well as organizing all equipment and placing it in its proper place. Studio responsibilities include cleaning all Treadmills, Rowing machines, Spin Bikes, Pilates Reformers, and portable equipment. TRX straps, Yoga bolsters, Foam Rollers and Mats will require washing and/or wiping. Lounge responsibilities include the cleaning of lounge tables after Mode Juice Co. staff depart for the day. Disinfecting and sanitizing sofas, chairs, and loveseats as well as cleaning carpets, floors, and rugs. Assisting the Sales Associates with keeping the counters and coffee/tea stations immaculate while replenishing coffee supplies as needed. Locker Room and Washroom responsibilities include cleaning and sanitizing all counters, toilets, showers, lockers, etc. located throughout the facility. Develop and maintain a thorough working knowledge and understanding of any equipment within the housekeeping department. Learn proper operation and assist with maintaining the equipment to keep it functioning properly. Adhere to all Occupational Health and Safety practices as outlined during your training, and in accordance with industry standards. This includes the safe handling and usage of all cleaning chemicals, as well as any other items or tools that you may encounter. Familiarize yourself with the monthly fitness class schedule to successfully fulfill all cleaning duties as required, as well as assisting with temperature control in the MindBody Studio. Monitoring inventory and supply levels and communicating stock replenishment needs as required. Restocking all locker room amenities as needed. Following specific directions from the General Manager or other SVAC Managers to complete any special projects, warehouse work, or interdepartmental work as needed. Stay aware of all operations within the Club and keep yourself informed of services and upcoming events via in-house and emailed communications. Communicating effectively with crossover teammates on outstanding items or leaving messages for the rest of the team. Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications



Prior work experience in a related housekeeping position is preferred Proficiency and experience in cleaning with extreme attention to detail Strong time management and organizational skills Can work well alone and as part of a dynamic team Professional manner with a positive and friendly outlook Dedication and commitment to providing prideful service for the safety of SVAC Members and Staff
