Job Description

Blind Channel Resort is a relatively remote establishment on West Thurlow Island, about 50 Km north of Campbell River, BC. We serve boaters cruising the coast seasonally, and also run a year-round water taxi service. We have on site a general store, post office, marina, fuel dock, seasonal restaurant, and several rental units.

We are seeking a mature, versatile person who can fill the role of housekeeper for our rental cabins and houses, who will also be a nanny for a one-year-old child when needed. This person will likely be required to do various side jobs around the resort, such as tidying the grounds and helping out in our retail store.

The ideal candidate should:

be outgoing, personable, and enjoy helping people have knowledge about, experience in, and love of caring for infants have experience, aptitude, and good understanding of housekeeping in a commercial setting such as a hotel or resort enjoy being in the outdoors, and engaging in physical activities take pride and satisfaction in keeping things neat, clean, and organized have a keen eye for details work quickly and efficiently communicate effectively with clients, supervisors, and co-workers
