Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry professional to join our professional team who run a 5 star residence close to Downtown Calgary. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards within our household. This position involves performing a variety of housekeeping tasks as well as managing laundry services, and providing pet care to ensure a welcoming and comfortable environment for our residents and guests at all times. You would be with working within a housekeeping team of 4. If you are passionate about cleaning, are an early riser and prefer working in the mornings then we would really like to hear from you. Live in is also an option.

Duties

Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming in assigned areas. Ensure all bedrooms and bathrooms are cleaned, stocked, and sanitized regularly. Manage laundry operations, including washing, drying, ironing, and organizing linens and garments. Pet care of dogs, birds and a cat Assist residents and guests or the cook in the kitchen for meal preperation and service Maintain cleanliness of laundry equipment and report any malfunctions or maintenance needs. Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Respond to guest or resident requests promptly and courteously. Assist with inventory management of cleaning supplies and laundry products. Maintain a positive attitude while working independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

Previous experience in housekeeping or laundry services is required. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Must love pets Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Good physical stamina; must be able to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights and go up and down stairs Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies is a must. Must demonstrate reliability, integrity, and professionalism in all interactions.

Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour
