Horizon Home Support provides senior home care and professional home cleaning in Langley, Surrey, Vancouver, Delta, Richmond, White Rock, Coquitlam, and North Vancouver, trusted in-home help with daily care and housekeeping so your loved one can stay safe and independent.

Responsibilities

Perform general cleaning services in residential homes Dust, sweep, mop, and vacuum all floor surfaces Thoroughly clean and sanitize bathrooms and kitchens Make beds and change linens as required Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces Empty and dispose of trash and recycling appropriately Organize and tidy living and workspaces to maintain a neat environment Assist with laundry services upon request Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive and engaging environment Document care provided and report any concerns or changes in client conditions to the appropriate personnel Light meal prep if required

Experience

Previous experience in residential cleaning or hospitality is an asset Home support experience onsite is preferred You are passionate about helping others Ability to work independently or collaboratively as part of a team with minimal supervision Strong time-management and organizational skills Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to high cleanliness standards Reliable, punctual, and consistent, with the ability to follow instructions and accept direction Physically fit and capable of performing tasks that involve bending, lifting, and moving throughout the workday

Requirements

Valid BC Driver's License and reliable vehicle English is essential Cleared Criminal Record Check Valid First Aid/CPR Certificate Professional appearance and dependable attendance
