Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors Dust furniture Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture Make beds and change sheets Distribute clean towels and toiletries Stock linen closet Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances Handle and report lost and found items Provide basic information on facilities Pick up debris and empty trash containers Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties Supervise in-house laundry services Maintain inventory of supplies, equipment and uniforms Ensure that local health and sanitation regulations are carried out Ensure that safety standards and departmental policies are met Co-ordinate in-house laundry services Co-ordinate inspection of assigned areas
