Housekeeper
to oversee the smooth running and upkeep of our home, ensuring it is an organized, welcoming, and efficient space.
Key Responsibilities:
Deep Cleaning & Maintenance:
Perform regular deep cleaning of all rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, sanitizing surfaces, maintaining floors, washing walls, and ensuring every detail is attended to.
Organize closets, storage areas, and living spaces with precision and efficient use of space.
Manage laundry, including washing, folding, ironing, and seasonal wardrobe organization.
Organization & Home Management:
Keep household supplies stocked and organized, with a system for easy access and maintenance.
Declutter and establish systems.
Coordinate and oversee maintenance of appliances, repairs, and service providers as needed.
Culinary Support:
Plan, prepare, and cook nutritious meals that align with dietary preferences and health goals.
Handle weekly meal prepping to ensure ready-to-eat meals.
Manage grocery shopping, inventory, and pantry organization.
Light Yard Work & Additional Support:
Perform occasional light yard work, such as watering plants, weeding, sweeping patios, or tidying outdoor spaces.
Run errands as needed, such as shopping, dry cleaning, or household errands.
Assist with pet care (if applicable) and basic indoor/outdoor plant care.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in household management, professional housekeeping, or a similar role.
Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment.
Self-motivated, reliable, and proactive in identifying needs and solving problems.
Comfortable with cooking a variety of meals and following dietary guidelines.
Excellent communication skills.
Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation (must be able to commute to a rural location 20 minutes south of Saskatoon).
Preferred Qualifications:
Background in hospitality, culinary arts, or professional housekeeping.
Familiarity with meal prep services and healthy, balanced meal planning.
Experience managing multiple properties or larger households.
Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 8:00am. - 5:00 p.m.
Occasional evenings and weekends may be required.
