We are seeking a Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized environment for our residents. The Housekeeper will ensure that all rooms and common areas are kept tidy and presentable, providing a comfortable living space for our residents. The housekeeper reports unsafe conditions/situations in accordance with applicable policy and procedure and as directed. The ability to interact with families, residents, and other team members is essential.
Experience:
Cleaning experience in commercial, residential, Healthcare cleaning and laundry procedures preferred.
Experience working with heavy duty cleaning equipment.
Ability to read and write English and understand moderately complex oral and written instructions.
Ability to work safely, following established safety practices and procedures, knowledge of WHMIS, cleaning and sanitation products
Ability to work independently and as a team player.
Competent communication and interpersonal skills
Able to lift up to 50 pounds, pushing and pulling
Able to use computers and internet
Evidence of good attendance
A valid Vulnerable Sector Check for Employment completed by your local Police Department - No older than 6 months
Two-step TB test or chest x-ray - No older than 6 months this has to be fill out within 14 days of hire*
