Job Description

PJs Cottage Care is currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented part-time housekeeper for a permanent year-round position. This role will involve shifts in Tay, Port Severn, and Honey Harbour, and candidates must have their own reliable transportation to reach job locations. Travel compensation will be provided for extended travel outside service areas.

Key Responsibilities:

- Vacuuming and mopping hard surface floors and carpets.
- Moving light furniture for cleaning, including vacuuming under beds.
- Cleaning and dusting light fixtures, baseboards, window sills, and overhead surfaces.
- Cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms and kitchens.
- Running laundry and making beds.
- Restocking supplies and restoring rooms to order.
- Reporting rental conditions and any maintenance issues.

Position Requirements:

- Ability to lift 30-40lbs and undertake physical tasks such as standing, bending, and stretching.
- Must be bonded.
- Punctual and reliable work ethic.
- Strong initiative and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, as well as independently.
- Access to a vehicle for transportation to job sites.
- Minimum of 1 year of housekeeping or cleaning experience.
