Dietary Aides/Servers

to join our growing pool of frontline staff.

The Role

We're hiring flexible,

on-call housekeepers

to support our partner homes across Ottawa. This role is ideal for individuals with a background in healthcare, retirement, or hospitality settings who enjoy working in structured cleaning routines and are familiar with infection prevention standards..

Key Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize resident rooms, common areas, and kitchen/dining spaces according to facility protocols. Follow all infection prevention, safety, and sanitation protocols in line with Public Health standards. Handle cleaning chemicals and equipment safely, including proper storage and labeling. Maintain organized supply closets and report inventory needs to supervisors. Support overall housekeeping operations and collaborate effectively with other staff and supervisors. Adapt to different facility routines and expectations while working independently or in a team.

What We're Looking For

At least 6 months of recent experience

in a long-term care, retirement, or healthcare setting. Knowledge of cleaning techniques, chemicals, and equipment used in healthcare or senior care environments. Highly organized, self-directed, and comfortable working in regulated environments. Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. Must be able to read, write, and follow written instructions in English.
