Responsibilities

Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold high standards of hygiene and presentation. Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and recreational spaces by sweeping, mopping, disinfecting, and restocking supplies. Handle laundry duties efficiently by washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels in accordance with hotel protocols. Conduct floor care activities including stripping, waxing, buffing, and polishing to keep all flooring surfaces pristine and well-maintained. Restock amenities such as toiletries, towels, and other supplies to ensure guest satisfaction. Follow safety procedures for handling cleaning chemicals and equipment to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff. Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure timely repairs and uphold facility standards. Adhere to all health and safety regulations related to janitorial and industrial cleaning practices. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and exceptional service delivery at all times.

Requirements

Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial roles within hospitality or industrial settings is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care methods such as stripping, waxing, buffing, and polishing. Previous hotel or hospitality experience is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm for providing excellent guest service is essential. Familiarity with custodial equipment and cleaning chemicals; ability to operate floor care machinery safely. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent time management skills with the capacity to prioritize tasks effectively. Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed. Physical stamina for standing long periods, lifting heavy objects (up to 50 pounds), bending, reaching, and performing repetitive tasks.
