We are currently seeking a

Full

-Time

Housekeeper

to assist our team at The Journey Club in the prestigious, active, and vibrant community of Westman Village in Calgary, AB.


As a Full-Time Housekeeper, you thrive on attention to detail and take pride in every task or project completed with the utmost accuracy. You'll work in a home like environment, with a high level of respect towards the individuality and dignity of each resident, family member and co-worker you interact with. You come to the table prepared to roll up your sleeves, complete a variety of tasks, and are equipped with a flexible schedule in order to get the job done.

A day in the life of a Full-Time Housekeeper at The Journey Club:

To clean areas according to assigned schedules using appropriate cleaning and sanitation methods and procedures To clean Resident suites and common areas, including furniture, kitchen and washroom fixtures, walls, ceilings, lights, vents and windows To operate floor care machines and steam cleaning equipment To strip, scrub, spray, and buff all carpet and non-carpet floor surfaces To adhere to established residence policies and procedures, including safety rules and safe working practices

What you bring to the table:

Knowledge and experience with standard facility-based cleaning techniques Previous experience in commercial /residential /healthcare cleaning and laundry procedures is an asset Ability to work with minimal supervision Role Profile Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Special Requirements:

Must provide a complete and current (within six months) Vulnerable Sector Check (including a Criminal Background Check) or be willing to obtain one.
