Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in residential settings, ensuring a welcoming and hygienic environment for clients. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces. Manage laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client needs and preferences with professionalism. Execute floor care tasks such as carpet cleaning, tile maintenance, and hardwood floor care. Ensure proper sanitation practices are followed to maintain health standards in all cleaning activities. Assist with cooking and meal preparation when required by the household or establishment. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management. Collaborate with housekeeping management to uphold quality standards and address any issues promptly.

Skills

Proven experience in residential cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred. Strong background in commercial cleaning practices is a plus. Familiarity with housekeeping management principles is advantageous. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients. Knowledge of sanitation procedures and safety protocols in cleaning environments. Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Experience in carpet cleaning techniques is beneficial.
