Duncan Housing Society
is a local, community-based, non-profit society.The overall purpose of the Society is Independent Housing for seniors and persons with disabilities at Duncan Manor.
Duncan Manor is a three-story, 122-unit building, consisting of studios, bachelor, and one-bedroom apartment units, it has a kitchen that serves three meals a day to tenants who need meal service. We are located within walking distance of downtown Duncan.
As a Housekeeper, your typical day will include the following:
Cleaning the common and shared areas of the building (hallways, bathrooms, showers, laundry rooms and lounge)
. Vacuum, sweep and mop floors in all areas and washrooms.
Disinfecting and increased cleaning of high touch areas
. Strictly follow and enforce all COVID-19 policies and procedures.
Undertake other tasks and housekeeping duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Must haves:
Ability to work independently and as a team.
Strong customer service skills and ability to effectively communicate with tenants and team members.
- Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
A criminal record check will be required.
Pay will be discussed at the interview.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
