Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including guest rooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas. Dust, vacuum, and mop floors to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards. Change bed linens and towels, ensuring all items are fresh and properly arranged. Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning products as needed. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitizing to ensure compliance with health regulations. Assist with special cleaning projects as required. Do personal laundry of residents and institutional laundry. Set tables and make dining room ready for meals.

Skills

Experience in industrial cleaning or custodial work is preferred. Background in hospitality or hotel environments is a plus. Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify areas needing improvement. Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated time frames. Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with team members. Strong communication skills to interact positively with other staff. English is required. Spanish is a plus.
