Responsibilities

Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces. Maintain high standards of floor care by sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, and polishing various flooring types to ensure safety and aesthetic appeal. Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, towels, and amenities to ensure guest satisfaction. Follow established cleaning protocols using appropriate janitorial equipment and cleaning agents to ensure safety and efficiency. Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure timely repairs and uphold property standards. Adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and infection control procedures. Support overall hospitality operations by assisting with additional duties as needed to enhance guest comfort and experience.

Qualifications

Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or hospitality environments; hotel experience is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of floor care techniques and industrial cleaning methods. Familiarity with janitorial equipment, cleaning chemicals, and safety procedures. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality and consistency. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and report issues clearly.
