Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various painting techniques and a strong understanding of both commercial and residential painting projects. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to communicate effectively, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results. The Painter will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and restoring areas as needed.

Duties

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer as necessary. Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Perform drywall repairs and caulking to ensure smooth surfaces before painting. Read and interpret schematics and project specifications to determine the appropriate materials and techniques required. Restore surfaces to their original condition when necessary, ensuring a high-quality finish. Utilize hand tools and rigging equipment safely while working on various projects. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining quality standards. Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the duration of each project.

Requirements

Proven experience in residential painting is preferred. Strong knowledge of drywall repair techniques and caulking methods. Ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding project needs and updates. Familiarity with hand tools and rigging equipment used in the painting industry. Attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality workmanship. Ability to follow safety protocols while working on job sites. A valid driver's license may be required for transportation to various job locations. Must have car to drive to job sites
