All team members

start their day between 7:50-8:00am each shift

. Finish times are flexible, but everyone must be available until at least 2:00pm and will never work past 5:00pm each shift. New team members must work a minimum of 3 days per week. We operate Tuesday through Friday, and we do not operate on Monday, statutory holidays, evenings, or weekends unless team members volunteer for extra hours.

Qualifications

You must be bondable, and a criminal record check is required prior to beginning employment. You must have a valid G or G2 driver's license, and your own vehicle available to use for work. You must be accepting of all races, ethnicities, genders, and sexual orientations of all ages. You must be able to work around pets, and not have a risk of a severe allergic reaction when in the presence of peanuts, pet fur, or other items.

What Sets Us Apart

Once hired, training begins with a one-on-one team member to show you how to complete the cleaning tasks, which products and equipment to use and how to use them, and the quality of work that will be expected from you during each clean. Training is paid at $18.25 per hour. After your 3-month probation period has ended, you are eligible for an employee benefits plan, and 3 paid sick days per calendar year. You are an employee, not a subcontractor, and therefore are covered under the company insurance, as well as WSIB and EI. Other cleaning services hire you as a subcontractor and you need to pay for your own liability insurance and you are not eligible for EI or WSIB in case of personal injury or emergency leave. We provide the cleaning supplies and equipment to each team, and we complete the laundry at the office so you do not have to take anything home with you. Other cleaning services require you to provide your own cleaning equipment and supplies, and/or you must launder your own cloths and mop heads. You will be paid for travel time between cleans, not just the cleaning time inside the home. Most cleaning services only pay their employees based on the time they spend cleaning and do not pay for travel time between each cleaning appointment. You are reimbursed for your mileage each month if you are driving your own vehicle. Most cleaning services offer a base rate per week as a gas allowance and this does not always cover the cost of fuel for work use.
