Job Description

The Continuing Education Department of Champlain College Saint-Lambert requires the services of an HOURLY INSTRUCTOR to teach the course of IMPORT AND EXPORT PROCESSES (410-084-LA)
This course develops the concepts and processes for importing goods to Canada and exporting goods from Canada. Students will collect all relevant information on the goods, obtain all the necessary documentation, prepare customs declarations, calculate tariffs and costs and transmit relevant information to government agencies and clients.
Required Qualifications :
Must have a thorough knowledge of tariffs, customs, and legal issues in transportation and logistics.
Must have a bachelor's degree in a related field and 3 years of pertinent experience, or a minimum of 8 years experience of which at least 2 must be in management.
Experience teaching an adult clientele in a similar program is an asset.

This course is taught in English. The selected incumbent will be required to work in English.
