Job Description

The Continuing Education Department of Champlain College Saint-Lambert requires the services of an HOURLY INSTRUCTOR to teach the course of INTRODUCTION TO TRANSPORTATION & LOGISTICS (410-081-LA)
This course introduces the foundational concepts of logistics, the supply chain and the key industries in the transportation milieu. Students will explore the knowledge, skills and behaviours needed to perform jobs within the supply chain. The students will propose appropriate modes and means of transport for merchandise and be exposed to key North American and International geographical networks/hubs important to transportation and logistics.
Required Qualifications :
Must have a thorough knowledge of the transportation and logistics industry.
Must have a bachelor's degree in a related field and 3 years of pertinent experience, or a minimum of 8 years experience
of which at least 2 must be in management.
Experience teaching an adult clientele in a similar program is an asset.

Fridays 1-4
(Nov. 14 & 28; Dec. 5 & 12; Jan. 9, 23 & 30; Feb. 13)
This course is taught in English. The selected incumbent will be required to work in English.
