Radisson Hotel and Convention Centre in Edmonton is looking for a dynamic individual for our nighttime hotel security guard for our hotel - PT position. As a floor security office, you will ensure that our staff, property, company assets and our valued guests are secure and protected at all times by interacting with customers and staff and writing accurate reports at the end of the shift. Key Responsibilities :

• Maintains a presence \xe2\x80\x93 patrols hotel inside and outside and guest activity; conducts door duty and crowd control during events/functions of the hotel including during Christmas time
• Escorts employees during cash and equipment transfers, and guests to vehicles
• Demonstrates emergency procedures and protocols; provides First Aid to guests and employees

Qualifications:

• Previous Security experience and training a strong asset
• Minimum Occupational First Aid Level 2
• Ability to carry up to 25-50 lbs and use/learn techniques to preserve a safe environment
• Ability to stand and/or walk for long periods of time, kneel, run, bend and jump
• High School/GED
• Ability to speak English clearly and articulate clearly with our guests and our employees.
