Filing forms and other paperwork
Work in a computerized environment.
Take, cancel and change room reservations.
Register arriving guests, assign rooms, and check-out guests.
Process group arrivals and departures.
Process guest departures and payments.
Post charges and payments to guest rooms and meeting rooms.
Balance cash float and daily cashier reports.
Handle a multi-line switchboard.
Arrange services for guests with special needs.
Provide information to guests about hotel facilities, services, and points of interest in the area.
Store and retrieve guest luggage.
Investigate and resolve guest complaints efficiently.
Monitor occupancy statistics.
Follow emergency and safety procedures.
EDUCATION, SKILLS and EXPERIENCE
Post-secondary education is preferred but not required.
Hospitality industry experience preferred
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Positive friendly attitude.

Professional appearance and excellent grooming.
Skilled in multitasking and time management.
Team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
Ability to exercise good judgment.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS and WORKING CONDITIONS
Require multiple hours of standing in front of a computer as well as physical patrols of the premise. There is also the physical demand of assisting guests with their luggage.
