Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Hotel Maintenance Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of hotel facilities. This role requires a strong background in mechanical and electrical systems, as well as excellent customer service skills to ensure a comfortable experience for our guests.

Duties

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on hotel facilities, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems. Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for system diagnostics and troubleshooting. Conduct welding tasks as needed for repairs and installations. Interpret schematics and blueprints to assist in maintenance tasks. Oversee facilities maintenance projects, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations. Provide leadership and supervision to maintenance staff, fostering a collaborative work environment. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Assist with residential painting projects within the hotel premises as required. Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing guest requests and concerns promptly and professionally.

Experience

Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field is essential. Strong electrical experience is required, with knowledge of using tools such as an ohmmeter. Mechanical knowledge is necessary to troubleshoot various systems effectively. Previous supervisory experience is preferred to lead the maintenance team efficiently. Familiarity with manufacturing processes can be beneficial in understanding operational needs. Excellent command of English is required for effective communication with team members and guests.
