Reporting to the Executive Housekeeper, responsibilities and essential job functions include but not limited to the following:

Carry out various functions within the laundry department Sort soiled linen and report any damaged or marked linen Load and unload washing machines and dryers as required. Fold all linen and place in proper shelves Follow departmental policies, procedures and service standards Follow all safety and sanitation policies Cleaning guest rooms if required Previous housekeeping experience is an asset Excellent organizational skills and time management Availability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, overtime shifts, split shifts and holiday Excellent communication and organizational skills Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities Highly responsible and reliable Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team with minimum supervision Ability to work independently and efficiently Other duties as required

Qualifications:

Previous laundry experience an asset Excellent communication and organizational skills Highly responsible and reliable Ability to work as part of a team with minimum supervision

Physical Aspects of position (include but are not limited to):

constant standing and walking throughout shift ability to push up to 50-lbs

8 hours Mornings Afternoons Evenings required Weekdays Weekends required Holidays

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
