Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Hotel Housekeeper/ house person to maintain the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas. The ideal candidate will ensure a welcoming environment for guests by providing exceptional custodial services. This role is essential in delivering a positive guest experience and upholding the hotel's high standards of hygiene and presentation.

Responsibilities

Clean and disinfect guest rooms, including making beds, vacuuming, dusting, and replenishing supplies Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, and restrooms Handle laundry duties, including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly Follow safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals responsibly Restock supplies as needed to ensure rooms are fully equipped for guest use Adhere to hotel policies regarding guest privacy and confidentiality

Requirements

Previous experience in cleaning, custodial work, or hospitality preferred; hotel or industrial cleaning experience is a plus Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment Good physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, bending, and lifting Reliable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude Ability to follow instructions and maintain confidentiality of guest information
