We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our hotel, ensuring that guests have a pleasant and comfortable stay. The Hotel Housekeeper will be responsible for cleaning guest rooms, public areas, and other facilities within the hotel while adhering to high standards of cleanliness and hospitality.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces. Ensure all bathrooms are cleaned and stocked with necessary supplies. Maintain cleanliness in public areas such as lobbies, hallways, and restrooms. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the housekeeping management. Follow established cleaning procedures and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff. Assist in laundry duties as needed, including washing, drying, folding, and delivering linens. Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure guest satisfaction and address any special requests or needs.

Skills

Strong cleaning skills with attention to detail in all aspects of housekeeping. Experience in floor care techniques and equipment operation. Previous hotel experience is preferred but not required; hospitality experience is a plus. Familiarity with janitorial practices and industrial cleaning methods is advantageous. Custodial experience is beneficial for understanding the standards of cleanliness required in a hotel setting. Knowledge of housekeeping management principles can enhance efficiency in daily operations. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively while meeting deadlines.
