Job Description
Rodd Hotels and Resorts is looking to hire a dynamic General Manager for the Rodd Charlottetown, a 4 ? star historic property located in the heart of downtown Charlottetown. This 115 room full service hotel has a pool, fitness centre, convention and meeting space, restaurant and bar. This remarkable candidate will commit to success and give a "lead-by-example" approach. They will be passionate with sales and marketing, the F&B department and enjoys being involved with the community and organizations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Be readily available/approachable for all guests
- Lead by example demonstrating self-confidence, energy and enthusiasm.
- Effectively lead and mentor hotel teams to achieve and exceed guest service expectations.
- Communicate all goals and results with employees
- Promote teamwork and employee morale recognizing good team and employee performance on a continuous basis through reward and recognition programs.
- Achieve budgeted revenue and profit goals balancing cost with guest satisfaction
- Develop annual budget and capital expenditure plans
- Lead revenue management strategies in conjunction with corporate team, maximizing revenue through yield management and inventory control systems.
