We are looking for a friendly and experienced candidate with previous hotel experience to join us as Hotel Front Desk Agent/Night Auditor for 99 rooms Hotel, Motel 6 London.
You will be responsible for the following:
Greet and welcome guests and ensure their needs are met in a timely manner
Check-in and assign rooms to arriving guests
Manage and process, cancel, and change room reservations
Respond promptly to guest concerns with patience and professionalism and ensure they are addressed in a satisfactory manner
Manage and process payments and balance cash
Document in the Front Desk logbook any issues that need to be communicated to the staff for the next shift, and escalate to the Hotel Manager as needed.
Answer phone calls and direct to others as required
Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance
Perform clerical duties as required
Support the Supervisor with any other required tasks in a timely manner
Being flexible with scheduling
Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure guest satisfaction
Perform other related duties as assigned
Perform night audit procedures to reconcile daily hotel transactions
Manage and process payments and balance cash
Maintain all appropriate reporting schedules and checklists; including, opening checklists, closing checklists, daily bucket checks, inventory, room assignments
Verification and auditing of hotel revenues including credit card and room charges
Prepare and distribute daily reports to management
Document in the Front Desk logbook any issues that need to be communicated to the staff for the next shift, and escalate to the Hotel Manager as needed.

Excellent communication and customer service skills
Proficient in using phone systems and computer software
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle difficult situations
Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Candidate must have at least 3 years of hotel experience
