Overview
Seeking a dedicated and reliable delivery driver to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for transporting uncooked pizzas to the University of Victoria using our refrigerated cube van. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and have experience in driving, as well as a commitment to safety and efficiency.
Duties
Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport pizzas to the University Load and unload pizzas, ensuring proper handling and securing of items during transit. Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety compliance Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation.
Requirements
Valid driver's license Previous experience in delivery driving or warehouse operations is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively. Ability to perform some lifting and physical tasks associated with moving goods. Familiarity with safe driving practices and traffic regulations. Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
