Overview

We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, along with experience in restaurant management and team leadership. As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating exceptional dishes that delight our guests while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality.

Duties

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality food production. Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, adhering to recipes and presentation standards. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to enhance their skills and performance. Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and maintaining proper stock levels. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen environment. Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction. Develop new menu items that reflect current culinary trends while meeting customer preferences. Monitor food costs and waste, implementing strategies to minimize loss while maximizing quality.

Experience

Proven experience in a Chef or similar role within the food industry, preferably in a restaurant setting. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food handling practices. Demonstrated supervisory experience with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively. Familiarity with restaurant management practices including inventory control and staff scheduling. Excellent leadership skills with a focus on fostering a positive work environment. A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional dining experiences to guests.
