We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring an exceptional dining experience. Your primary focus will be on guest services, managing reservations, and coordinating seating arrangements while maintaining a smooth flow of operations.

Duties

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables. Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently to optimize seating. Provide menus and explain daily specials to guests. Maintain knowledge of the menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely service. Handle guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism and courtesy. Assist with phone etiquette by taking reservations or answering questions about the restaurant. Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area. Collaborate with team members to enhance overall guest satisfaction.

Skills

Strong guest services skills with a passion for hospitality. Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred. Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on creating positive experiences for guests. Proficient in communication skills, both verbal and written. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Volante POS, is advantageous. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A friendly demeanor with the ability to work well under pressure. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.60 per hour
