Job Summary:

As a

Busser/Hostess

, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and play a key role in maintaining the flow and cleanliness of the dining area. You will ensure a warm welcome, assist with seating, and support the front-of-house team to create a memorable dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:Hostess Duties:

Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival. Manage waitlists and reservations using [mention system if any: e.g., OpenTable, manual log]. Seat guests promptly and efficiently, ensuring server rotation. Communicate wait times accurately to guests. Answer the phone courteously and assist with inquiries or take-out orders. Maintain a clean and organized front entrance and hostess stand.

Busser Duties:

Clear and reset tables quickly and thoroughly between guests. Assist servers with delivering water, clearing dishes, and restocking supplies. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area and service stations. Support team during busy service times with table setups and guest requests. Handle glassware and tableware carefully to avoid breakage.

Requirements:

Previous experience in hospitality or customer service preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stay calm under pressure. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and a willingness to learn. Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.

Preferred (Not Mandatory):

Familiarity with Indian cuisine or cultural sensitivity to South Asian dining etiquette. Multilingual skills (e.g., English, Hindi, Punjabi) are an asset.
