Overview TDS is currently seeking a Host/Hostess. This position will support the efforts of the Administration Department, working directly with the Receptionists to maintain boardrooms and kitchen areas, and to ensure there is adequate stocks of food and drinks and cleaning supplies. Regular hours are 9:00 - 5:00, however some flexibility may be required to cover 7:30 to 3:30. Key Responsibilities
  • Housekeeping of reception area, boardrooms, Northern Lights Lounge and coffee areas on the 15th floor and 16th floors
  • Prepare coffee for meetings and set up catering
  • Maintain inventory of snacks, pop, and liquor for events
  • Configure the TDS multipurpose rooms for meetings
  • Provides backup for Front Office Supervisors breaks and vacation/sick time
  • Greet in-person clients and visitors to the office in a professional manner
  • Answering the phones and transferring calls to the appropriate destination closes reception at the end of the day
  • Provide support to ensure successful execution of all firm staff or client events
  • Other duties as assigned.
To be successful in this role, you must work effectively in a professional, fast paced environment, have experience in an office or business environment, possess organizational, interpersonal and communication skills, have a strong emphasis on attention to detail, strong written and verbal communication skills, mature attitude and professional and strong work ethic, ability to prioritize, have a mindset for helping others, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
