We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Host/Host to join our dynamic team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a positive dining experience. Your responsibilities will include greeting guests, managing reservations, and coordinating seating arrangements in our restaurant. A passion for hospitality and excellent customer service skills are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables. Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart to optimize guest flow. Answer phone calls with professionalism, providing information about the restaurant and taking reservations as needed. Assist guests with any inquiries or special requests, ensuring their needs are met promptly. Collaborate with the waitstaff to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area. Utilize POS systems for managing reservations and guest information efficiently.

Experience

Previous experience in hospitality, particularly in a restaurant or hotel setting, is preferred but not required. Strong communication skills with an emphasis on customer service and guest relations. Familiarity with phone etiquette and handling inquiries professionally. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A positive attitude and willingness to help both guests and team members are essential traits for this position.
