Summary

Koto Sushi is seeking a Host/Host to join our team . In this role, you will be essential in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests while ensuring smooth operations at our restaurant. Your contributions will help us maintain our commitment to providing an extraordinary culinary experience.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently Provide menus and explain daily specials to guests Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the dining area Address guest inquiries and provide exceptional customer service Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery Handle phone calls for reservations or inquiries professionally Support team members in various tasks as needed Take Online/ phone takeout/ Delivery orders

Qualifications

Proven experience in guest services or hospitality roles Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced restaurant environment Familiarity with POS systems is an asset Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not mandatory Excellent phone etiquette and customer interaction skills A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $17.85 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 30 per week

Work Location: In person
