Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team at June on Cambie.

The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and a positive dining experience. This role requires excellent communication skills, a passion for guest services, and the ability to manage reservations efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests promptly with a friendly demeaour. Manage reservations if anchoring and working alongside anchor as a floater. Provide menus and inform guests of specials or promotions. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area. Assist in coordinating with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service. Handle phone inquiries with professionalism, providing information about the restaurant and updating reservations as needed. Address guest concerns or complaints promptly and courteously to enhance customer satisfaction. Support the team during peak hours by assisting with serving when necessary.

Requirements

Previous restaurant experience preferred, with a background in guest services or hospitality. Strong communication skills and excellent phone etiquette. Familiarity with food service operations and understanding of customer service principles. Experience with POS systems, particularly Resy or OpenTable, is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A positive attitude and willingness to collaborate with team members to create an enjoyable dining experience for guests. Pay: $17.85-$19.00 per hour
