Job Summary :

Ola! As a Host you'll be the welcoming face of our establishment, the first and last impression our guests receive. You'll be responsible for creating a warm and inviting atmosphere, managing reservations efficiently, accurately estimating wait times, and ensuring a smooth and pleasant dining experience from start to finish. This role demands exceptional customer service skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You'll be the linchpin of our front-of-house operations, ensuring seamless communication between guests, servers, and management, and contributing directly to our reputation for outstanding hospitality. Core Responsibilities:

Guest Greeting and Welcoming:

Greet all guests with a friendly and professional demeanor. Make guests feel welcome and comfortable upon arrival.

Reservation Management:

Answer phone calls and take reservations accurately. Manage and organize reservation lists. Utilize reservation systems and software.

Seating and Table Management:

Escort guests to their assigned tables. Manage the flow of guests and optimize table utilization. Provide menus and inform guests of server assignments. Coordinate with servers and management to ensure efficient seating. Assist the Server Assistant team with clearing and resetting tables for the next guests.

Customer Service:

Provide accurate wait time estimates. Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally. Handle customer complaints with tact and diplomacy. Accommodate special requests when possible.

General Duties:

Maintain a clean and organized host/hostess area. Assist with other duties as needed, such as answering phones or taking to-go orders. May help with light cleaning duties.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

Excellent customer service and communication skills. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure. Friendly and outgoing personality. Ability to work as part of a team. Basic computer skills. Ability to stand for extended periods.

Salary and Benefits

$17.20 / hour and participation in a FOH tipout pool Staff discounts on food and non-alcoholic beverage
