Role Proposition:
Do you love skiing or snowboarding? We are looking to hire Hosts for the upcoming winter season in our ski in-ski out slope-side bar & grill. Are you a people person who can talk with just about anyone? As a Masa\xe2\x80\x99s host, you should have excellent knowledge of the food and drinks menu while providing quick and friendly service. Masa\xe2\x80\x99s is a high volume and fast turnover restaurant; therefore, you will need to perform well under pressure. Accountabilities:

• Greet guests in a friendly manner and seat them at an appropriate table
• Present guests with menus and water
• Inform guests about the daily specials and any changes in the menu
• Be knowledgeable of the menu, ingredients of the food items, and how they are prepared
• Clear and clean down tables
• Serve food and beverages to guests as per the course of an order
• Accurately and reliably perform closing duties and reconcile cash with total sales
• Provide a genuine farewell to all guests
• Be a continuous ambassador for Sun Peaks Resort and all activities and events throughout the winter season

Job Requirements/Qualifications:
Ideal Candidate:

• Professional, fun, and friendly personality, with the ability to build enthusiasm with guests under pressure and in routine situations
• Neat, tidy, and well organized with the ability to multi-task
• Ability to provide superior customer service and exceed customer\xe2\x80\x99s expectations
• Experience and a good understanding of a POS system
• Capability to multitask and prioritize jobs
• Well-presented and a team player
