Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and professional Host/Host to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional guest services and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for hospitality, making every guest feel valued and appreciated.

Duties

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables. Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize flow and minimize wait times. Provide menus and inform guests of daily specials or promotions. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area. Answer phone calls with professionalism, handling inquiries and reservations effectively. Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service. Assist in managing the waitlist during busy periods while maintaining a positive guest experience. Utilize POS systems, including Micros POS, for reservation management and order processing as needed.

Experience

Previous experience in guest services or hospitality is preferred, particularly in a restaurant or hotel setting. Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on communication and interpersonal interactions. Familiarity with food service operations is a plus, along with experience using POS systems. A positive attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure are essential for success in this role.
