Responsibilities

Greet guests with a warm and friendly demeanor as they arrive at the restaurant. Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize guest flow. Provide menus and inform guests of specials or promotions. Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area. Handle phone inquiries with professionalism, providing information about the restaurant and taking reservations as needed. Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction. Address guest concerns or complaints promptly and effectively, ensuring a positive dining experience. Utilize POS systems, including Micros POS, for managing reservations and processing orders when necessary.

Qualifications

Previous experience in guest services or hospitality is preferred. Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on communication and interpersonal abilities. Familiarity with food service operations is advantageous. Experience working in a restaurant or hotel environment is a plus. Proficient phone etiquette for handling inquiries and reservations professionally. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. A team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
